First 1000 views, thank you!

🎉 1,000 Views Across My Music Packs & Game Jam Projects!

Hey everyone — YannZ here!

I just started sharing my music on Itch since about 10 days ago or so. Today, I hit 1,000 combined views across my three music asset packs and two game jam projects here on Itch. It might not sound like much to some, but for me, it’s a huge milestone. I’ve been putting my heart into making music that game devs can actually use — and the fact that people are even checking it out means a lot. 🙏

 60 Downloads — Here's What I'm Learning

So far, I’ve had about 60 downloads — which means a lot of people are looking, but not that many are committing. That tells me a few things:

  • Presentation matters. Maybe the visuals, descriptions, or previews could be clearer.

  • Devs might want different styles, formats, or use cases.

  • Or maybe they just need more time to trust a new composer.

That’s all valid. I’m here to learn, improve, and make better stuff for you all.

 What’s Worked So Far

  • My jam entries Lucid  / Fangs & Feathers brought in the most eyes.

  • Packs with a clear vibe or theme  performed better than general ones.

  • Sharing the packs on Discord and Twitter helped drive traffic.

 What’s Next?

  • I’m planning an update or new freebie pack soon. Something small, fun, and useful — like UI sounds, mini-loops, or emotional stingers.

  • I want to make more thematic packs for specific game genres: think farming sims, roguelikes, spooky puzzle games…

  • And I’d love to know what you want!

💬 Talk to Me!

If you’re a dev, let me ask you:

❓ What kind of music pack would you actually download right now?

Do you want stems? Loops? Ambience? Short packs? Big collections?

Leave a comment here, DM me on Twitter (@JsuisSyssmo) or Discord (@yannz_41), or just reach out — I’m open to ideas, collabs, and commissions. I want to keep building tools that help make your games sound amazing.

Thanks again for 1,000 views. Let’s see where this goes. — YannZ 🎵
